Building for today and the future
The Concordia Foundation was established in 1981 to help preserve, develop and maintain the standards and facilities of the College, to ensure the continuing independence and financial security of the College.
Since 1999, the Foundation has raised significant funds to upgrade the campus facilities, which includes projects such as The Suaviter, the library resource centre (‘Yangadlitya’), the College Courtyard, Murtoa and the Maths Centre upgrade (The Atrium).
In 2016 and 2017, the Foundation's major focus is on supporting the development of a leading-edge science centre that will transform the teaching and learning of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) at Concordia. Read about Building Bright Futures for more information about this important project and to find out how you can get involved.
The Foundation operates several fundraising programs, including a bequest program known as the 1890 Club.
