Vocal Cabaret - what a night!

Senior Vocal Cabaret

Last Friday night, the Fullarton Park Community Centre’s Banquet Room was transformed into a vibrant performance venue. Thirty vocal students from Years 10, 11 and 12, as well as our Concert Vocal Ensemble and Year 11 Jazz Quartet, performed brilliantly as part of this annual event. The standard has never been higher, and to witness the musical maturity and confidence of these young musicians was a genuine pleasure for the 200 member audience.

This event was strongly supported by the tireless Friends of Music Committee, led by Jenni Watkins, as well as a number of parent volunteers whose efforts on the night added to the delightful community feel of the evening.

Thanks to the wonderful vocal teachers and accompanists who prepared and assisted the students throughout the program, and to all who attended. Thanks also to Simon Kuchel who provided sound, and Adam Smith (old collegian) who provided lighting which added to the professionalism of the evening. Of course the biggest thanks and congratulations goes to all the talented students who entertained us at this year’s excellent Vocal Cabaret.
