ELC Bush Day
Our youngest students revelled in the chance to spend a day exploring the natural environment at Belair National Park for their ELC Bush Day on Tuesday 23 May. Nature play is an influential component of the ELC learning program that provides many and varied opportunities for students to explore, to wonder and to use their imagination while learning about and developing a love for the natural environment.
Through working and playing together at Bush Day, students develop in a number of ways, growing in curiosity, appreciation, independence, creativity, confidence and respect.
The staff and students in the ELC are now looking forward to their second Bush Day for the year which will take place in September.
