Year 8 Camp
Our Year 8 students had a wonderful time getting to know one another and embracing new experiences at their year level camp at Victor Harbor in March.
From water sports such as body boarding and kayaking to more adventurous activities like raft building and treasure hunting through the tunnels beneath the heritage listed Adare House, there were many opportunities to try something new and to build lasting friendships.
Highlights included delicious home-cooked food and the chance to take a bird’s eye view of the campsite on a high rope swing called the Flying Kiwi.
The camp is a key activity for many students who are new to Concordia as they begin to develop strong and supportive connections, and this year’s camp is was no exception, with many memories created and many friendships formed.
