Science Centre Update
Currently under construction and due to open late in October 2017, the Centre for Science and Discovery is a magnificent new facility that will transform teaching and learning of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) at Concordia.
The building has taken shape dramatically over the last six months and we are excited to announce that the construction phase looks set for completion ahead of schedule. The relocation of the Science Faculty from its temporary home in the Winchester Street Hub to the new centre will take place at the end of this term. Landscaping on the Quad is currently in progress, and is already helping to anchor the building within its surrounds.
We look forward to being able to use this new facility and to the exciting new learning opportunities that it will enable. We are grateful to the many old collegians who have supported this landmark project and partnering with us in 'building bright futures'. An invitation to attend the opening will be extended to all old collegians in due course.
