Volunteer Certificate Program

Concordia Old Collegians Association is delighted to announce a new initiative, the COCA Volunteer Certificate Program, designed to assist old collegians to gain valuable experience in the hospitality and event management sector.

Through the Certificate Program, volunteers will receive official recognition of their skills and their time donated to the Concordia Old Collegians Association. Each year we run a comprehensive engagement program across a broad range of demographics that can provide old collegians with highly relevant event planning, execution and hospitality experience in a supportive and familiar environment, while continuing a connection with the College and fellow old collegians. Certificates signed by the SA Government’s Minister for Volunteers will be awarded for 10 or more hours of service. Recipients may choose to present their certificate to potential employers to verify their experience as a volunteer. The COCA Committee is also able to provide a referee for future job applications.

If you are interested in volunteering at any of our upcoming COCA events, we’d love to hear from you. Simply email Angela Warrick, COCA Liaison, to register your interest.
