Congratulations Class of 2015
The Concordia College Class of 2015 has had much to celebrate over the summer break, with many students receiving news of excellent results in either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).
A special note of congratulations goes to three students who achieved an impressive Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 99 or above, placing them within the top 1% of students nationwide. In total, twenty seven students across the SACE and IBDP courses achieved 95 or greater - a tremendous effort in such a busy and challenging year!
In 2015 the top SACE student at Concordia College received an outstanding ATAR of 99.35, while our top IBDP student achieved a superb ranking of 99.8. These exceptional results are complemented by achievements across the cohort wherein 27.6% of eligible students received an ATAR of 90 or greater and 61.8% achieved an ATAR over 80. The median ATAR for 2015 was 83.2.
In total, 23 merits were awarded to Concordia College students along with 3 IBDP distinctions. These are truly excellent results that show the dedication and commitment of our students to their studies throughout the year.
As students now look towards further study we are delighted to announce that 101 Concordia students have been granted their first preference of tertiary courses. The two most popular areas of tertiary study are allied health as well as business and commerce.
Concordia College again congratulates the class of 2015 on their academic results while also acknowledging the invaluable contribution of our teachers who have offered much expertise, guidance and support along the way. The College community wishes each student well as they move into life beyond school.
