Congratulations to our 2019 Graduates
The 2019 Valedictory Service, held at the Adelaide Town Hall on Wednesday 23 October, was a moving and memorable occasion for the Class of 2019 and their families as many members of the Concordia community gathered to formally mark the end of this milestone year for our Year 12s.
As is our custom, the end of year celebrations did not end there, and just a few weeks later the Year 12s gathered on the lawns of the Concordia Quad for the last time as students, along with their parents, at the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner and Parent Reception. It was a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to celebrate, to reminisce and to catch up as a year level before journeying into life beyond Concordia. We thank our Year 12 students for all they have contributed to our community during their time with us and wish them every blessing for the future.
In a similar fashion, our Year 6 students and parents gathered on the lawns of the Concordia Quad on Friday, 6 December for the Year 6 Graduation Dinner and Parent Function. Once the official photos had been taken to mark the occasion, parents formed a congratulatory guard of honour, which the students walked through on their way to enjoy an Indian banquet dinner – a special moment for all involved.
Whether it is finishing Primary School and transitioning to Middle School or concluding the entire school journey at the end of Year 12, we enjoy celebrating these special occasions with our students and their families. We trust that along with the knowledge and skills our graduating students have gained, the friendships formed and memories made at Concordia will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
