Lily Named National Junior Voice of Youth Champion
Following her success the Rostrum Voice of Youth Junior State Finals, where she delivered speeches in the SA House of Assembly at Parliament House, Lily (Year 9) went on to achieve national success, winning the National Final. Five adjudicators reviewed Lily’s speeches from the State Final and named her as National Junior Voice of Youth Champion at the National Final on Saturday 31 July.
Ms Julie Cranswick, SA / NT Zone Rostrum Voice of Youth Coordinator, and Mr Einer Herringe, National Coordinator of the Rostrum Voice of Youth, presented Lily with a trophy and a perpetual ceremonial mace at an Assembly in Term 3, as well as a perpetual shield which the College will have on display for the coming year.
Over 800 students participated nationwide and we congratulate Lily on the outstanding achievement of becoming national champion in such a highly regarded competition.
