Opening of the Nautilus Centre

On Monday, 30 October we celebrated an important milestone in the College’s history with the official opening and dedication of the Nautilus Centre, a magnificent new learning facility for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM).

We were honoured to welcome His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, who officially opened the new building; Reverend David Altus who dedicated the new facility; Uncle Michael O’Brien who delivered a Welcome to Country; past and present Concordia families; and other guests from the wider College community including university representatives, architects and builders, Principals and staff from other schools, and friends of the College.

After the opening ceremony, staff, students and guests made their way across to the Nautilus Centre for the cutting of the ribbon before visitors had the opportunity to see the new facilities for themselves on a tour of the building.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this exciting project which marks the start of a new era in Science and Art education at Concordia College. You can find out more about the new Nautilus Centre here.
