OSHC Receives Top Recognition from ACECQA
Concordia’s OSHC service recently received the top recognition possible under the National Quality Framework. The service is the first of its kind in South Australia and one of only a handful of services nationally to receive a rating of Excellent from the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.
The award was officially presented by Gabrielle Sinclair, CEO of ACECQA, and SA Education Minister, Hon John Gardner MP on Thursday, 16 August.
The OSHC program sees students engaged in a range of activities, from Plazma bikes to a Construction Club which runs in partnership with the Concordia Campus Design and Technology Department. As well as providing a safe, welcoming environment and an engaging educational program, Michael Paech said staff have worked hard for many years to create a service that embodies the strong values and positive culture of our school community.
