Rebecca Tan commenced a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical) with a Bachelor of Finance at the University of Adelaide in 2015. She is currently completing her final year of university and looks forward to starting her career as a Graduate Process Engineer at ExxonMobil’s Altona Refinery in 2020. Rebecca has received two prestigious resources industry scholarships extended to high-achievers; namely the 2018 AusIMM/Playford Trust Minerals Industry Honours Scholarship and the 2019 Nyrstar/Playford Trust Scholarship. Rebecca has also taken advantage of the opportunity to travel as part of her degree. She has obtained two further scholarships for study tours to China and Vietnam, and has volunteered her time and expertise through engineering programs in Cambodia and rural South Australia.
