At St Peters Campus, we believe education should be an adventure that inspires curiosity, creativity and confidence for the future. That is why our 'EdVenture' framework is not just a new initiative or a passing trend, but a bold and lasting direction for our campus.

EdVenture: Shaping the Future of Learning at St Peters Campus
4 Sept 2025
Last edition I shared about the early steps of our EdVenture journey. Since then, we have seen students across the campus engaging in real-world learning experiences that challenge them to think deeply, collaborate meaningfully, and discover their strengths. From sustainability projects in our local environment to creative problem-solving in design and digital spaces, EdVenture has already begun to transform the way our students see themselves as learners.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, EdVenture will continue to grow as the signature learning experience of St Peters. A new suite of experiences will be introduced, giving students opportunities to extend their learning in areas such as enterprise, innovation, sustainability and service. Importantly, EdVenture will remain woven into the fabric of everyday learning, ensuring that every child—no matter their strengths or interests—can find their own pathway to flourish.

At the same time, we are undertaking a curriculum review of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) at St Peters Campus. As part of this process, we will be seeking input from parents, staff and students during Term 3, with the outcomes of the review to be shared with families in Term 4. This review is part of our commitment to ensuring that the curriculum best serves our students today and into the future. The outcomes will directly inform how we continue to strengthen EdVenture, ensuring our students have access to the best possible learning pathways.

To support these directions, we are committed to ensuring that students benefit from the expertise of passionate and specialist teachers. In 2026, we look forward to expanding our specialist program including languages other than English, which will allow students to build intercultural understanding and global connections from their earliest years. Another exciting shift in our specialist programme will be that our STEM lessons will emphasise science and the use of digital technologies to solve real-world problems. These changes are designed to provide more personalised opportunities for every learner, and to equip them with the skills and perspectives needed in our rapidly changing world. In 2026, our staffing structure will evolve to place a greater emphasis on cross-Primary School initiatives, staff wellbeing and enhanced professional learning opportunities for staff.

Most importantly, EdVenture is about future-proofing education at St Peters Campus. It reflects our commitment to preparing students not just for the next stage of schooling, but for a life where they can contribute, create and lead with confidence and compassion.
We are excited about what lies ahead and grateful to share this journey with you. Together, we are ensuring that our students are not only ready for the future but empowered to shape it.
Kind regards
