Strengthening Wellbeing at St John’s in 2026
30 Oct 2025
Dear St John's Campus Families
At St John’s Campus, our focus for 2026 continues to centre on strengthening student wellbeing, connection and belonging — key priorities of our College’s strategic direction.
Next year, we are excited to embed the Zones of Regulation as a whole-school approach to supporting emotional awareness and self-regulation. The Zones of Regulation framework helps students recognise and understand their feelings, and provides practical strategies for managing emotions and behaviour in positive ways. By giving students a shared language to talk about, and manage their emotions and feelings, will strengthen every child’s ability to self-manage their wellbeing.
We will also continue engaging students in bringing our new College values to life, ensuring these values are reflected in their daily actions and relationships. Additionally, the trial of Wellbeing Wednesday activities will continue in 2026, creating opportunities for students to connect across year levels, strengthen friendships, and understand the importance of prioritising their wellbeing.
Kind regards
Paul Bannister
Principal – St John's Campus
