Naomi Hoff

1936

Naomi Hoff was born at Koonibba in outback SA in 1923, and commenced at Concordia in 1936, at which time she was the youngest enrolled boarder.

After graduation, Naomi went on to become a teacher. During her long career, Naomi taught, and later served as principal, at a wide variety of schools in SA, QLD, VIC, NT, TAS and Papua New Guinea, all the time thanking God that He had guided her into a profession where she worked with people, and in particular, children.

Naomi retired after 47 years of service as a teacher and principal, but still keeps busy filling her time with volunteering for the Fullarton Lutheran Homes, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lutheran Archives, the Queen Adelaide Society and the Heart Foundation.
