Pictured here are students from our Stage II Music Studies class in the process of analysing several musical scores, including a film’s orchestral soundtrack, a solo piano arrangement, and several works of Chopin. In an age when digital technologies predominate our learning tool sets, there remains value in annotating a score by hand, pages spread across a desk. Along with music notation excerpts and a prose component, these analyses will from the bulk of the students’ next assessment task. All the best wishes to our 2022 Music Studies class.
