The children in Concordia Junior Primary enjoyed an Aboriginal Dance Workshop with Melanie Koolmatrie and Caleena Sansbury from Carclew Aboriginal Artists in Schools Group. The children explored a variety of contemporary Indigenous and traditional Aboriginal dance moves from the Torrens Strait Islands and learned about Aboriginal culture and storytelling through dance. This engaging experience was made possible through P&F funding and was greatly appreciated by all involved.
