Last Saturday night, one of Concordia’s longest serving peripatetic artists and directors was recognised by the Minister for Tourism and Culture for his work in education, particularly for the work he has done with Concordia’s Year 7 Special Interest Music program. For this, he received the 2023 African Cultural Ambassador Award. It was my pleasure to speak on Dada’s behalf at the award ceremony, highlighting the diverse nature of our extraordinary Music program.
