Student Attendance Reminders

Parents and caregivers of students in our Middle and Senior School are asked to please note the following reminders relating to student attendance, arrival times and supervision.

On the Middle and Senior School campus, the school day begins at 8.30am. In order to have time to visit their lockers and be ready for learning and pastoral care activities, students should arrive at the College by 8.15am. The College grounds are supervised by staff from 8.00am and students are permitted to enter College buildings from 8.25am.

As part of our legal obligations, Concordia College is required to gather information about student attendance each day. Information about student absence can be shared with the College via SMS, email or phone as per the following:

  • SMS to Concordia Absence 0419 467 821
  • 24-hour recorded message 8291 9393
  • College Reception 8272 0444 (from 8.00am)
  • Email not@concordia.sa.edu.au

We seek to encourage timely attendance to the College because we value student involvement in College activities, and we believe it is important to role model preparedness for life beyond school. If your child is late for a reason of which the College has been notified, students are still required to sign in at SSO upon their arrival. This ensures they can be accounted for both in the classroom and in case of emergency. Students who are late to the College three times in a school term with no parent explanation can expect to be issued with a detention.

Thank you for your support.
