The central idea for our Unit of Inquiry this term is ‘imagination helps us to think, create and explore’. To commence this inquiry, we enjoyed a magical and interactive incursion with Patch Theatre’s Glow and Tell. The children were captivated by the UV light, shadows and storytelling. The performance sparked creativity and imagination, enabling them to explore new ways to express their thoughts and ideas.

The central idea for the Receptions’ Unit of Inquiry is ‘Personal and imaginative stories express significant moments in people’s lives’. We were able to enjoy the Glow and Tell performance as an amazing provocation for our learners to consider different ways to share stories with other people. We look forward to exploring ways to tell stories this term.
