During Term 1, the Year 10 German class studied specific aspects of German culture, focusing on music, sport and food. To celebrate the food aspect, we ended the term by baking some traditional German biscuits—Lebkuchen and Vanillekipferl. Students read through the recipes in German, mixed the ingredients, baked and decorated the biscuits all in one lesson. They then enjoyed eating their culinary creations. Guten Appetit!
