Congratulations to Emily (11BSTJ) on being selected for the Australian Under 16 Softball Squad—a fantastic achievement. Emily earned her place in the squad when she represented SA in the U16 National Championships in January, leading the batting. Later this month, she will represent South Australia in the Australian School Sports Softball 18 Years and Under Girls tournament and we wish her all the best as she prepares to compete.
Congratulations to Isaac (10RCRO), who recently represented South Australia as a member of the School Sport SA baseball team that won bronze at a recent tournament held in Western Australia. Well done!
Year 12 Student Leader Lincoln (12SSCH) has recently received some outstanding recognition for his commitment to and leadership within ScoutsSA. Last term we reported that Lincoln had been appointed as Deputy Assistant Chief Commissioner - Youth. At the end of April, he was also announced as Volunteer of the Month for March 2025. - Callum (6MT) received the Grade 2 Brass ABODA Prize
- Charles (7SCHE) received the Horn Grade 4 Prize
- Ulani (10DLYN) received an Oboe Associate Diploma (with Distinction)—an incredible achievement for a student in Year 10!
Congratulations to Lucy (9ALAM), who won third place from a field of around 100 in the Calisthenics SA Graceful Girl Solo Division 1 final on Wednesday 9 April. Lucy has also been selected as part of the Calisthenics SA State Team to compete in the National “AusCali Carnivale” competition in the July school holidays, to be held here in Adelaide. We wish Lucy all the best as she prepares for this competition.
Congratulations to Coby (10BWHAT), who competed in the Target Rifle Australia National Championships this week, held at the South Australian Rifle Range in Wingfield from April second to sixth. He participated in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Male 10m Air Rifle, the ISSF mixed teams 10m Air Rifle and the TRA Open 10m Air Rifle against competitors from across the country, finishing with two bronze medals.
Well done to Hunter (11BSTJ) on representing SA at the Junior Australian National Athletics Championships held in Perth last month. Hunter represented SA in the 100m and 200m events—an excellent effort!
