Developing literacy skills in Year 1 at St Peters Campus is an exciting and enjoyable experience! Students are actively building their reading, writing, handwriting and communication skills through engaging activities that make learning fun.

One highlight of our literacy journey is reading personalised books written by Ms Livingston, which inspire a love for storytelling and comprehension. Students also participate in creative activities to master tricky words, helping them grow in confidence as writers.

Handwriting is another important focus, with students taking the time to develop beautiful penmanship that makes them proud. Through dedication and practice, they are refining their writing skills while expressing their ideas with clarity and creativity.
