On Tuesday 3 June, students from Years 5–12 in Chamber Strings and String Ensemble took part in a focused day of music-making at the scenic Nunyara Conference Centre. Under the expert direction of ensemble directors Martin Butler and Therese Smith, students engaged in intensive rehearsals aimed at both refining their current repertoire and exploring new works.
The day provided an invaluable opportunity for students to deepen their ensemble skills, develop musical cohesion and enjoy time immersed in their craft. With the support and mentorship of their directors, students made significant progress and returned inspired and better prepared for upcoming performances.
