Circus performer, dancer, and freelance artist Abbie Madden recently delivered an inspiring Acro workshop to our Year 9 Dance students. A proud Adelaide-based performer, Abbie brought a wealth of industry experience to the session, including her ongoing work as Training Coordinator at Access2Arts and tutor at Restless Dance Theatre.

Students thoroughly enjoyed their time with Abbie as they experimented with new performance and partner skills such as shoulder stands, thigh stands and counterbalances. They developed greater independence and confidence while learning the importance of safe dance practices, an essential foundation for anyone aspiring to work in the performing arts industry. Well done, team!
