ELC Little Link Up

Earlier in the term, the children from both of our Early Learning Centres had the opportunity to connect via a video call. It was lovely to catch up with each other and share a bit about what we have been learning about so far this term.

The children from St Peters Campus ELC shared a song (My Lighthouse) and performed the actions and the children from St John’s Campus ELC chose a story (Warna-Manda Baby) for us to read over the video.

Sharing this positive virtual interaction not only fosters a sense of connection and community but also enriches children's social and emotional development. These moments of virtual engagement help children build relationships beyond their immediate environment, encouraging empathy, curiosity and communication. By embracing simple yet meaningful opportunities like this, we can create joyful learning experiences that leave lasting impressions—reminding us all of the power of connection, even from a distance.
