Our ELC children are seen as capable, creative thinkers with a deep sense of curiosity about the world. This was beautifully evident during our recent Child-Led Conferences using the central idea of “Imagination helps us to think, create and explore”.
The Child-Led Conference was designed to honour the voices of our youngest learners. Each child had the opportunity to share their unique perspective on how imagination shapes their play, learning and relationships.
During the conference, families were invited into the learning spaces where children proudly presented their projects, play narratives and thinking processes.
Imaginative play is more than just fun—it is a powerful foundation for learning. Through role-play, storytelling and inventing, children build language, collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence. The conference helped families gain insight into how these playful, imaginative moments are deeply connected to learning and social development.
We are so proud of the children’s confidence, creativity and leadership during this event, and we thank our families for their ongoing partnership and encouragement. Together, we continue to nurture a community where imagination is not only welcomed—it is celebrated.
