This year's Debating competition was challenging, with 306 teams from 69 schools taking part. A total of 28 students from Year 7 to Year 10 were involved in Concordia's five teams, and all teams have come a long way this season. The students have developed lifelong skills, including cooperation, teamwork, research, effective communication and logical thinking skills.

We are pleased to share the following results:

• Year 10 Debating Team: grand-finalist
• Year 9 Blue Debating Team: semi-finalist (finished first in the Year 9 competition)
• Year 9 Yellow Debating Team: finished 10th in the Year 9 competition
• Year 8 Blue Debating Team: finished ninth in the Year 8 competition
• Year 8 Yellow Debating Team: finished 38th in the Year 8 competition

The Year 10 Grand Final Debate will be held at 2:15pm this Saturday 27 September 2025, at Parliament House. We wish the students involved all the very best!
