Our Year 12 Visual Art and Creative Art students are in the final phase of completing their major practical works. Hence, the Visual Art Department has been turned into a busy hub with students undertaking extra studio time, making concerted efforts and remaining dedicated to their best skills and efforts. Their works highlight a diverse use of artistic media: painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, textiles and digital art. Their work shows clear concepts with particular themes, including personal and gender issues.
The final stages of their year's efforts incorporate a significant focus on documenting their creative processes, with detailed process pages as well as students' personal reflections to complement their creative products and artworks.
These talented and creative Year 12 artists and designers will be exhibiting their final outcomes at Concordia’s Launchpad learning showcase on Tuesday 18 November, with an official opening at 4.30pm.
