We’re excited to announce that our Whole College Book Week Assembly will be held in the Fortiter Gymnasium on Friday 22 August, starting at 12.40pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the joy of reading!
2025 marks a very special occasion, 80 years of Children’s Book Week in Australia! This year's theme, 'Book an Adventure', invites students to explore the incredible journeys, characters and worlds found within the pages of their favourite stories.
As part of our celebration, we will be holding a Book Week Costume Parade during the Assembly. We encourage families to work together to create a costume that reflects a much-loved book or literary character. This is a great chance to spark conversations at home about favourite stories, characters and the magic of reading.
