Recently, the Year 5 students at our St Peters Campus had the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and make a lasting impact on the local environment by planting native sedges, grasses and shrubs at Woodlake Reserve in Craigburn Farm. Working alongside the Woodlake Reserve Action Group (WRAG), the students helped establish a nature trail designed to support local biodiversity and environmental regeneration.
This hands-on environmental learning experience reflects our campus’s strong commitment to caring for the world around us and empowering students to serve both their community and the environment.
The day included expert guidance from Trees For Life, who shared knowledge on native species and revegetation techniques. It was a morning full of learning, laughter, muddy boots—and of course, a well-deserved hot chocolate and biscuit break!
We’re proud of our students for their care and effort and look forward to watching their contributions grow.
