Our St Peters Campus has been buzzing with creativity, teamwork and hands-on learning during our recent Special Interest EdVentures sessions. These EdVentures give students the chance to explore their passions, try new things and work together in fun and meaningful ways. Special Interest EdVentures on offer are in Term 3 are:
- MasterChef Junior with Miss Wilson
- SproutEd with Mrs J
- LEGO Masters with Ms Watkins
- School News with Ms Barratt
- LEGO Animation with Mr Webster
- Petals and Produce with Ms Benger
- Mud Kitchen with Ms Livingston
In Week 2, MasterChef Junior participants filled the air with delicious smells as they made mini muffin pizzas—a big hit with everyone who was lucky enough to taste them! Students practised their cooking and chopping skills, worked carefully to follow recipes and enjoyed eating their creations.
Over in LEGO Masters, imaginations soared sky-high with a challenge to design and build their very own LEGO playgrounds. From towering slides to obstacle courses and imaginative play spaces, their designs showcased creativity, problem-solving skills and lots of fun!
Meanwhile, the gardening group SproutEd rolled up their sleeves to replant our school garden beds. With fresh seedlings now in place, we’re looking forward to watching the plants grow and transform our garden into a thriving, green space for the whole campus to enjoy.
These EdVentures are a fantastic way for students to develop skills, make connections and discover the joy of learning through real-world activities. We can’t wait to see what they’ll achieve next!
