Book Week 2025: Book an Adventure

What an adventure students and staff, across our three campuses, had with books and reading last week during Book Week 2025!

Students were engaged with many activities, including a Living Library, an illustrator visit, a Book Fair, competitions, short-listed book voting, scavenger hunts, luggage collection, dress-up day, a parade, book tastings and craft activities.

Marc McBride, our visiting illustrator, wowed St John’s Campus students with his airbrush skills, to create a dragon picture. He then had students draw with him, as he shared simple drawing techniques.

A highlight of the week was undoubtably the dress-up day, Assembly and parade, where students came dressed as a book character and paraded confidently in front of the school. The variety of book characters at school last Friday was amazing!

Book Week is such a great week to share and celebrate the amazing books that we have access to and the love of reading.
