Junior Primary Sustainability Club

The St John's Campus Junior Primary sustainability captains and other participants have been growing a beautiful vegetable garden this year. Holly (2BM) and Charlotte (2BM) have been leaders in the sustainability group and have been working hard to grow our garden. During Week 5 at Sustainability Club, Junior Primary children gathered at the garden to harvest some food to cook with. Students Charlotte and Ariana (2BM) planted spinach seeds right at the beginning of the year. Some children had the privilege of harvesting the spinach and some parsley and made spinach, cheese and parsley pinwheels.

This was a wonderful experience where students were able harvest produce and cook with it. Some special deliveries were made to staff for them to try.

I wonder what will be ready to harvest in the garden next!
