On Thursday 14 August the Premier League Reserves netball team played in the semifinals of the IGSSA competition. This is the first time in 10 years that we have made the finals and deserve this opportunity due to many great performances this season.
Competing against the highly favoured Westminster School, the girls played incredible netball to be leading at three quarter time by two goals. The last quarter was a fight to the end and unfortunately we went down by two goals 52–54. All 10 players should be incredibly proud.
A big thank you to our cheer squad that made the drive down to Westminster to cheer us on, including Mrs Serotzki (Girls' Sport Coordinator) and Mr Ric van Wachem (Director of Sport).
Congratulations to the whole senior netball squad who have had a successful season, including the A Grade finishing an amicable second in their Saturday competition.
