From the Head of OSHC Services

As a parent of two young children I can understand the challenge and constant balancing act of full-time work, family, activities and other commitments. The demand for care and support outside of the school day is higher than ever. We also want to feel assured that we are leaving our children in a safe and nurturing environment when we aren’t present.

Out of School Hours Care is available on a consistent basis throughout the year—only taking a break on public holidays and for closure over Christmas and New Years. Our service provides the flexibility and peace of mind that all parents appreciate in a fast-paced age. Children are cared for by qualified educators and provided with the space, resources and opportunities to learn and grow.

Beyond care, our OSHC program fosters a strong sense of belonging and connection. Many children request to attend OSHC even when parents do not require the care because they enjoy what the service has to offer. Children show their appreciation for OSHC by displaying openness and a serving attitude. This is demonstrated through their desire to help with routines such as snacks and clean-up, and voicing their ideas to improve life at OSHC for all that attend.

Here at Concordia OSHC, we are 'firm in principle, gentle in manner' and use core values to guide our approach towards education and care. We are proud to offer a service that is highly regarded by the community and meets the needs of our families.
