Last night's Valedictory Service was a wonderful occasion for celebrating the graduating Class of 2025.
The students, their families and College staff gathered in Concordia's Chapel for worship led by Pastor Dale, followed by the presentation of a range of academic and service awards. During the service, each member of the Class of 2025 was presented on the stage and received a gift from the College and the Old Concordians' Association. This year's Valedictory speech was presented by much-loved English and German teacher, Mrs Connie Held, who is retiring at the end of the year after almost five decades of service to the College. Connie shared a profound and very humorous message about the transformative power of perseverance and 'doing what you can do', especially in uncertain times.
Old Concordian and Channel 9 Sports Reporter, Will Crouch, also spoke, regaling the students with tales from his time at Concordia, and sharing the significance of the foundations he built at the College for his future success.
With the conclusion of this significant milestone event for the Class of 2025, we are reminded of the strength of our community and share our enormous pride in our students. We are so excited to see what they do next!
