The Year 1 students proudly hosted their own Student-Led Conferences, sharing their learning from our 'How We Express Ourselves' Unit of Inquiry on stories. Families were treated to an inspiring showcase of creativity—from poetry, story maps and bookmaking through to favourite book characters built from boxes.

Students reflected on how much they’ve grown since the start of the year, sharing new skills and personal achievements before setting goals for Term 4. It was wonderful to see their confidence and ownership of learning shine as they guided parents through their work.

Student-Led Conferences help children take responsibility for their learning and build confidence while also strengthening connections between home and school.
