St Peters Campus Year 2, 3 and 4 Camp at Belair

What an incredible camp at Nunyara in Belair! Our Year 2, 3 and 4 students embraced challenges with persistence, resilience and teamwork. From problem-solving activities to outdoor adventures, the camp was filled with opportunities to learn, grow and have fun together.

Students worked through the Amazing Race, solving puzzles and completing tasks around the campsite. They tested their creativity and engineering skills in the Tower Challenge, building tall, strong structures and then using slingshots to knock down rival towers! At Initiative Plus and Aslan’s Table, clear communication and collaboration were key as teams worked to balance, cross, and complete tricky challenges.

Outdoor activities were a highlight, including the tree climb, where students had the opportunity to push themselves to climb up to 12 metres safely harnessed in, and the water obstacle course, which had everyone laughing as they connected pipes, filled buckets and unlocked a treasure chest before tackling a group puzzle. Shelter building tested design thinking and teamwork as students worked with limited resources to create a structure that could withstand a 'storm' (with a little help from a hose!). Add in billy cart races, problem-solving stations and plenty of time for reflection, and it was a camp to remember.

Beyond the fun, students learned valuable life lessons about supporting one another, listening to ideas and never giving up. We are so proud of their collaboration and resilience, and grateful for the memories made at Nunyara!
