On Monday of Week 8, a group of nearly 40 Year 11 students attended a vehicle maintenance course run by the RAA. The students learnt about safety features of different cars, and received tips on what to consider when purchasing a car. They also learnt how to identify the oil, coolant and wiper fluid caps under the bonnet, how to refill these, and how to change a tyre. The course was a great mix of theory and practical skills, and we hope that the students will now be able to deal with minor car maintenance issues with greater confidence and knowledge.
