Earlier this term, the Year 6 students from our St Peters and St John’s campuses shared their personal inquiries and forms of action as part of the IB Primary Years Programme Exhibition —the pinnacle of their PYP experience. This event marked the culmination of their learning and highlighted the depth of their understanding, creativity and commitment to creating positive change.
Students explored inquiries driven by their own passions, linking their classroom learning to real-world challenges. Their investigations inspired a wide range of actions: some created powerful advocacy pieces through art, music, and model-making; others rolled up their sleeves for hands-on initiatives such as school clean-ups or running sports and music clinics. Several students even ventured into digital innovation, designing games, websites and films to spread their messages more widely.
Families and friends had the chance to walk through these exhibits and witness the depth of thinking and effort behind each inquiry. Every display revealed a learner who had followed their curiosity, overcome challenges and taken purposeful action.
The journey was enriched by the guidance of mentors, input from guest speakers and support from professionals connected to each inquiry. Along the way, students strengthened key skills—working collaboratively, communicating effectively, managing their time—and demonstrated the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
This Exhibition was a true team effort. We acknowledge and thank the students, staff, parents and volunteers who played a role in bringing this event to life.
To our Year 6 learners: congratulations. Your passion, your ideas, and your sense of purpose have inspired our entire community.
