This term, our Year 7 students have participated in SkillUp! sessions, a fun and engaging opportunity to try new activities and connect with peers from other classes as well as key members of our school community.
Each week, students selected from a range of activities, including:
- slow stitch
- 3D printing
- pickleball
- nutrition
- glass painting
- polymer clay sculptures
- friendship bracelets
- remote-controlled cars
- gardening
- LEGO.
The variety ensured that every student could discover something they enjoyed while building confidence, learning a skill, and building connections. Their joy, curiosity and willingness to try something new made the program a wonderful success.
