Welcome to a new school year. At Concordia our goal is to connect, empower and challenge our learners. In the first weeks of school, students can begin to explore a variety of enrichment and extension activities. I am delighted to share the following opportunities, for which I am the key contact. There are many more competitions/extra-curricular opportunities that will be promoted in a variety of ways across the academic year. Students should look for promotional posters, emails from teachers and listen out for Assembly announcements.

- Youth Environment Council (Years 7–11)
- Brain Bee Challenge (Year 10)
- 'What Matters' writing competition (Years 5–12)
- Oliphant Science Awards (Years 7 – 12)
- Inklings writing group
- Youth Parliament (age 15 +)
