Q&A with Alison Ronoastro – Principal, St Peters Campus

1. Where were you before this and what persuaded you to join Concordia?

Prior to joining Concordia, I worked at Christian Brothers College for eight years as Head of the Junior Campus. After 19 years in Catholic Education, with a strong focus on boys’ education, I was ready for a new challenge. When this opportunity arose, I was drawn to the strong sense of community at St Peters Campus, which I have already come to value greatly.

2. Three words to describe you.

Humourous, empathetic and relational.

3. What is your motivation or inspiration in your role?

My primary motivation is to bring joy to the students of St Peters Campus and to ensure that our staff and families feel genuinely supported and valued as members of our community.

4. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

If I had a superpower, it would be the ability to travel through time—just a short way into the future, perhaps to 2027 or 2028—to see whether the plans and vision I have for St Peters Campus truly made a positive difference.

5. Who would you invite to a dinner party of six guests and why? Alternatively, tell us something you might like to share that we could not possibly know?

The six people I would invite to dinner would be Boy George, George Michael, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, Billy Joel, and Stevie Nicks—so we could enjoy karaoke late into the night, singing our way through all of their greatest hits.
