Last Saturday, our Senior A girls' volleyball team competed against Seymour in the grand final for the title of the best female IGSSA volleyball team. Our team got off to a shaky start, trailing Seymour 4–7, before finding their groove. Once in front, the girls were never bested in the best of three sets. With the first set won at 25–20, they went on to win the second set in commanding style with a 25–18 win. It was a fantastic game to watch, with some great plays, digs, spikes and fantastic rallies by both schools. Hannah (12KNIC), the team's captain, also won best player of the game. Congratulations to all team members, they are a credit to themselves, their parents and the College. Thank you also to all the spectators who came out to witness such a great game and support the girls in their triumph.
