In Week 8, the St John’s Campus Year 4 students embraced the cooler weather as they headed off to Adare Camp at Victor Harbor for an exciting and memorable experience. Throughout the camp, students participated in a range of team-building activities that encouraged collaboration, problem-solving and resilience as they worked together to tackle both logical and practical challenges.
Students also stepped outside their comfort zones, taking part in activities such as kayaking, the ‘Flying Kiwi’ (high rope swing), and a boat tour exploring Granite Island and surrounding areas. For many, staying away from home was an important opportunity, building independence and confidence.
With quizzes and active games, delicious meals and plenty of time to connect with friends, the camp was a joyful and enriching experience.
Well done to our Year 4 students, and thank you to the amazing efforts of staff and parents in supporting them in this experience!
