The Lutheran Church collects and sells used stamps. This program, Stamps for Missions, raises money for a variety of purposes in the Asia Pacific region.
Projects supported from the money raised include:
- Ministry support for the Orang Asli (indigenous people) of Malaysia – programs such as literacy and computer classes for children, supplying library books and food distribution.
- Support for Hanna Schulz who is a linguist and translator in PNG.
- And other projects in Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand.
In a decade over $400,000 has been raised to support various projects in the Asia Pacific! All from an unwanted and used stamps.
If you have any used stamps you'd like to donate, please drop them in to the Concordia Campus Reception.Back to top
