Always a highlight of the Year for our Year 12 students, this year's Formal is sure to once again be a fabulous night of celebration. Information about the event will be distributed to Year 12 parents and students shortly.
Twilight Tea
Friday 13 March, 5-8.30pm in the Concordia Campus Quadrangle
The annual Twilight Tea is one of Concordia’s best-loved community events. Join us in the Quad on Friday, 13 March from 5pm to 8.30pm for a full program of entertainment, children's activities, food stalls and much more. For those new to Twilight Tea, click here for an overview of some of the food and entertainment on offer. For the younger families in our community, we are excited to be introducing additional activities this year, including a petting zoo, fire engine visit, and a kids book and toy stall. Entry is free so bring a rug and enjoy the festival atmosphere with your family, friends and neighbours!
Parent Education Workshop with Mark Le Messurier
Wednesday 18 March, 7-9pm in the St John's Campus Hall
Parents are warmly invited to an education workshop with guest speaker Mark Le Messurier on Wednesday, 18 March. This 'Developing Perseverance' presentation is bursting with a selection of totally practical ideas to build resilient kids, and it would be great to see as many parents as possible in attendance.

Business Networking Breakfast

Members of the Concordia community are warmly invited to join us for our next Business Networking Breakfast with special guest speaker Carole Gordon from BIN SHIFT. Carole teaches sustainable waste reduction, which in 2020 is critical knowledge for businesses seeking to be leaders in sustainable practice. Second-hand Clothing
If you have uniforms you no longer need, they may be donated or sold in The School Shop. All items must be washed, ironed and in a good condition. Blazers and winter skirts must be dry cleaned and summer hats cleaned. Any uniform items in need of repair e.g. broken zips, seams unstitched, missing buttons, etc., must be repaired prior to acceptance for sale. Buttons are sold in The School Shop.
Old Logo – Uniforms with the old school logo are no longer saleable in The School Shop but can be dropped off for donation.
Orders – Rugby Jumpers & Seniors Jumpers
Delivery has been delayed due to the temporary shut down of factories in China. This has also affected the manufacture of some of our Australian-made garments.
We anticipate receiving a partial delivery of rugby jumpers next week. Seniors jumpers are due at the end of February. Students/parents will be contacted when their order is ready to be collected.

Back to top- The Young Endeavour Youth Scheme is inviting applications for voyages in STS Young Endeavour in 2020. This internationally recognised youth development program offers young Australians aged 16-23 the opportunity to form a crew and learn all the skills required to sail a square-rigged tall ship while building self-awareness, leadership and communication skills, and a sense of community responsibility. - The Adelaide Junior Bulldogs are calling for registrations for the 2020 season. Registrations are open at a range of age groups, with teams taking part in the SANFL Juniors competition. For more information, download a flyer or to register visit the SANFL Juniors website.
- The Southern Cross Cultural Exchange program is holding two information sessions at the Brighton Bowling Club at 7pm on Tuesday, 25 February and Tuesday, 24 March. The program is designed for those wishing to live and study abroad in places like Italy, Japan, France, Canada, Germany, the USA and more. For more details, download a flyer.
- DanceSA is running classes in Burnside, with a fusion of styles in every class, including jazz, contemporary, hop hop and ballet fundamentals for ages three and up. Click to download a flyer for more information.
- A research study approved by the Women's and Children's Health Network Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC/18/WCHN/168) is currently underway, looking at whether meditation improves quality of life in adolescents with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). They are currently seeking females aged 12-20 years who have been diagnosed with PCOS to be involved in the study. To find out more, click to download an advertisement for the study.
- Woolworths Cricket Blast Pop up Clinics are being held at Adelaide Lutheran C.C. - Park 21 from Thursday, 27 February to Thursday, 19 March. Sessions run from 5-6pm and are for ages 5-10. Download a flyer for more information.
