Year 10 Knockout Netball

Last Wednesday, a squad of 12 Year 10 girls took on the challenge of playing Scotch and Gleeson in our first knockout round. Our first game against Scotch was a hard game. We went onto the court with a few aims, the main objective was to not make any of the Scotch goals easy for them.

We managed to keep up with Scotch in the first quarter, however we fell behind in the second. Even though we were down in the last half, the girls fought hard for every ball and we achieved our aim of making the Scotch team work hard for each of their goals. In the end we lost in a close game.

In the second game, Concordia put Gleeson under enormous pressure with strong mid-court pocket drives, and excellent cohesion in the attacking circle, resulting in a high score achieved.

Congratulations must go to all 12 girls and a big thank you to the coaches Mrs Crouch and Chrissy for their guidance on the day.
