After a three-year hiatus, 73 students from Concordia took part in a weekend of memorable music making in the Mount at Generations in Jazz 2024. The hard work, talent and energy of our bands and choirs was evident across the weekend, and we were pleased to achieve three top ten finishes:

• Division 1 Large Vocal Ensemble: 2nd Place (Mattson Jazz Choir)
• Division 3 Large Vocal Ensemble: 7th Place (Prelude Jazz Choir)
• Division 2.2 Stage Band: 2nd Place (Big Band 1)

In addition, our Mattson Jazz Choir’s alto section, comprising six students, was selected to be in the Super Choir and three students were also named in Super Bands. All students are commended for their efforts and commitment in preparation and during the weekend competition.
